קְנוּבְקָאוֹת קְנוּבְקָאוֹת, cakes made of flour of parched grain, kneaded with oil, and intended to be reduced again to flour by rubbing between one’s hands; brittle cakes. Ḥall. I, 5 וכן הק׳ חייבות and so are brittle cakes subject to Ḥallah; Y. ib. 57ᵈ sq. [read:] וכן הק׳ חייבות … שלא תאמר וכ׳ and so are the brittle cakes subject &c., that you may not think, because they are to be reduced to flour, they ought to be exempt. ערכים סמוכים
