*פָּרָאסוֹפָא, Parasopha, Prosopha (Prosopa), supposed to be the name of a place near, or of a building in Tiberias. Gen. R. s. 65 the arms of Jacob were as thick כתרין עמודין דיפרא סופא (combine; Ar. דפרוסופא; ed. Koh. דפרסופא) as the two columns of P.; Yalk. ib. 115 דפרספא; (Tanḥ. Vayḥi 6 כשני עמודים שבתיך דמוסין שבטבריא).
