עָסוּת, (denom. of עִיסָה), pl. עָסִיּוֹת, עִיסִיּוֹת, leaven. Maas. Sh. II, 4 יתחלקו לעסות (Ms. M. לעסיות; Y. ed. לעיסיות) let them be divided into small portions to be used for leaven. Y. Ḥall.
