(ed. סַמָּא; Ar. ed. סמתר) they might prepare samtré, and he might recover; Yalk. Deut. 849; Yeb. 114ᵇ (Rashi סַמְתֵּירֵי). B. Bath. 74ᵇ ההוא עישבא ס׳ היה (Ar. הנך עישבי ס׳ הוו, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 8) that plant was s.—Ḥull. 54ᵃ quot. in Rashbam to B. Bath. l. c. עבדי לה ס׳ (ed. בדרי לה סמא).
