סוּפְגָּנִים, (סְפוֹג) cakes made of spongy dough, a sort of crackers. Ḥall. I, 4, expl. Y. ib. 57ᵈ טְרִיקְטָא. Ḥall. l. c. 5 תחלתה עיסה וסופה ס׳ if his first intention was to make regular dough (for bread), and then it was changed for crackers.
