מַמּוּלָּאֵי, (מָלַל II) frail, short-lived people (by the way of play on מַמְלָא, q. v.).—Fem. pl. מַמּוּלְיָאתָא, (מוּלָּיָ׳) מַמּוּלְיָיתָא (with מִילֵּי) frail words (untenable arguments). Yeb. 75ᵇ sq. משום דאַתּוּ מ׳ אמריתו מילי מ׳ because you are frail, you speak frail words; (Var. משום דאתיתו מִמּוּלָּאֵי … מוּלָּיָתָא because you are descendants of &c.); B. Mets. 109ᵃ; B.
