חַמָּא, (חמם; cmp. חַמָּם) radish. Ab. Zar. 28ᵇ bot. ח׳ לחמה Ms. M. a. Ar. (ed. חַמָּה) radishes are good for fever. Pes. 116ᵃ קפא דחסא ח׳ וכ׳ against the injurious effects of lettuce apply radishes &c.
