*דָּרוּפִתְקֵי, sing. a. pl. (a comp. of דרי to carry, a. pl. of פִּתְקָא; cmp. מקבלי פתקין Sabb. X, 4) bag for official documents, mail bag. Snh. 99ᵇ [read with Ms. M.] כולהו גופי ד׳ נינהו טוביה לדזכי והוי ד׳ דאורייתא שנ׳ כי … בבטנך (Ar. דרפתקי) all human bodies are mail bags (carrying the decrees of the Lord); happy they who are found worthy to be receptacles of the Law, as it says &c. (Prov. XXII, 18).
