*אֶשׁתּוֹמָּא, (שמם, v. next w.) confusion, nonsense. Ḥull. 84ᵇ א׳ קאמר וכ׳ he talks nonsense, let his interpreter (אֲמוֹרָא) be taken away from him (v. Rashi a. l. for diff. version, a. conception of אמורא).
