אֲגַם II, leek, or leek-like plants, opp. to שחת young grain &c. Kidd. 62ᵇ this refers only to shaḥathאבל בא׳ לא but not to ăgam. Ib. מאי משמע דהאי א׳ לישנא דבוצלנא הוא (Ar. דבוצלא) what proof have you that ăgam in this case has the meaning of onion-plants? (Answ. ref. to אגמון Is. LVIII, 5).
