מְצַוְצָא, (צְוַץ) chirper; מ׳ דתננא [smoke-chirper,] cricket in the chimney. Midr. Till. to Ps. CII, 4 כהדין מ׳ דת׳ (my days pass in smoke) like that cricket (ed. Bub. מציצא דיקר, read דיקיד, the cricket on the hearth, v. Bub. a. l. note 14).
