  3. זְבוּל, Z’bul, name of the fourth heaven. Ḥag. 12ᵇ ז׳ שבו … ומזבח וכ׳ it is called Z., because there are (the heavenly) Jerusalem and the Sanctuary with the altar erected &c.
  4. זְבוּל, יום ז׳ festival of a heathen divinity. Pesik. R. s. 6 יום ז׳ נילוס היה it was the festival of Nilus; [cacophemistic disguise: נבול, Gen. R. s. 87; Cant. R. beg. ניבול וזבול;—Yalk. Gen. 146 גידול; Sot. 36ᵇ חַגָּם]. V. זִיבּוּל.
